U izložbenom programu predstavljamo nekoliko različitih umjetničkih pozicija s ciljem kontekstualiziranja ovog pojma u području vizualnih umjetnosti i suvremenih umjetničkih praksi.
(Sonja Briski Uzelac)

The exhibition zrenez zernez zernetz by visual artist Dino Zrnec opens on Friday, October 18, at 7PM at the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum.
zrenez zernez zernetz is the first exhibition as part of the BoSA project. It has been organized in collaboration with Regeneracija Zabok, a manufacturer of tufted carpets.
The exhibition is part of the project BoSA – Briefing on Soft Art led by CIMO – Center for Research of Fashion and Clothing. With this project and exhibition program, CIMO is focusing on contemporary art practices, aiming to reevaluate the concept of softness (traditionally associated with textile industry). The exhibition program is going to present several different artistic positions in order to contextualize this term in the field of so-called textile arts and, at the same time, expand the term to the broader field of visual arts and contemporary artistic practices.
The exhibition can be visited until Friday, November 15, during the museum opening hours.
Tuesday – Friday: 9AM – 5PM
Saturday and Sunday: 9AM – 1PM
Closed on Mondays and public holidays.
The program is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia and the City Office for Culture – the City of Zagreb (2019.)
From the text: An Image of an Image of an Image
“Through this prism, we can approach the current artistic practice of Dino Zrnec, who uses different media and processes to focus, examine and re/create the issue of the image today on the margins of its total global domination. Conceptualizing the new situation of the image which is bounded by the artist's specific intention, Zrnec opens up the space of ‘the archive of images’, revealing the hidden functioning of visual memory both in the collective imaginary and individual imagination.” (Sonja Briski Uzelac)
